During our Freedom Week activities, we discussed and compared The Texas Pledge and The Pledge of Allegiance. In order to bring our studies "closer to home", our Allstars made up a classroom pledge. Here are two for your enjoyment.

We had an unexpected visitor in our classroom this week. We found a tiny lizard and decided to observe him for Science before setting him free. The children named him Stripey and after a short visit in our classroom, he was set free to play outside. Ask your Allstar all about it. It's always an exciting day in our classroom.

We had a lot of fun in the Science Lab discussing our Allstar Magic science experiment. It went in line with the idea that the magic in our classroom wouldn't happen unless we had the right environment and everyone worked together. We talked about our "habits" and how it is ok to make mistakes. We also talked about helping each other and working as a team to bring everyone up. Then we added the magic. Ask your Allstar what happened.
